How to Dual Boot Windows 8 With Windows XP

Hello friend! Welcome to Pupilspot1. Today I am going to show you How to Dual Boot Windows 8 With Windows XP. After learning this lesson you will be able to Dual Boot Windows 8 With Windows XP and you can run both operating system in a single machine. Now before we proceed, make sure that your Computer meet the minimum requirement to install Windows 8 also you need at least 20GB space in your Hard Drive.



So, let's start the lesson..

First, you have to create a partition of your hard drive in Windows XP. To do this go >> to My Computer icon , right click and Select Manage and then click on disk management. Here on your C drive right click and select shrink volume. See the figure below

After this select the size of your partition. Give your desired partition space and then click on shrink. 

Now insert the Windows 8 disk into the drive and restart the computer. When you restart you should be able to see press any key to boot from CD or DVD.

When the Setup is start Set the Language,Time and Keyboard than click on NEXT

After this hit on Install Now and then Give Product Activation Key and click NEXT .

After this when the (Select Partition) prompt will open then select Drive 0 Unallocated Space and click on NEXT. See the figure below.


After this Windows Installation process will start and your computer will restart several times during this process.

When the Choose An Operating System prompt will open, you have to choose Windows 8 to finish the installation process as same as in the figure below
